Kate is a seasoned coach and consultant who draws inspiration from working with leaders — both emerging and established — who are advancing purpose-driven solutions and making an impact for a better world.
In her primary role, Kate serves as the North America Lead for the Social Impact + Sustainability practice at Weber Shandwick, a global communications consultancy. She helps purpose-driven brands and C-suite leaders lean into consequential conversations and position themselves in today’s dynamic context at the intersection of business, policy, culture, technology and media. She advances integrated communications and thought leadership that build and protect reputation, drive organizational strategy and elevate stakeholder influence on critical social and environmental issues.
As an evangelist for purpose, Kate has served on PRWeek’s Purpose Council and has also been a featured speaker at convenings such as the Concordia Summit and the Borsa Italiana (part of Euronext) annual Sustainability Day. Kate regularly guest lectures to graduate students at Georgetown University on purpose communications and partnership topics.
Previously, Kate led strategic growth at Network for Good, a leading digital giving platform and practiced public-private partnership development with The United Way of Greater Los Angeles and the U.S. Agency for International Development. Kate started her career at Boston Consulting Group working with luminary thinker George Stalk Jr. on innovation projects.
Kate holds a B.A. in English and French Literature from Bryn Mawr College, a M.S.W. from the University of Southern California and a M.B.A. from Georgetown University. Kate also earned an Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching from the Institute for Transformational Leadership at Georgetown University.
